Holcomb House

148 North Center Street

Bungalow
Early 1900’s
Architect Unknown
Building Unaltered

Built in the early 1900’s for Harold C. Holcomb, local agent for the American Railway Express.

The Holcomb family occupied the house through the 1970’s.

In 2002 the house was purchased by Tom Honoré and Sim Nathan.

Their renovation of the property included a large addition to the north and rear of the building.

An excellent example of a Bungalow Style in a large residential format. Original distinctive characteristics include deep wraparound veranda, and wood balustrade front door.
