Built in 1927 for Zelda Lofgreen Leavitt, a bookkeeper for the Southside District Hospital.  Zelda Lofgreen married Mesa Fire Chief, Carl Ellsworth.

Carl Ellsworths died in the 1940s. Zelda Ellsworth remained in the house until the 1980’s.

 

The house was restored by The Reeb Family in 2007.

 

Illustrates a modest, well preserved Tudor Revival Style house. Characteristics of the style used in this house include steep pitched roof and sweeping rake over the entry porch.
