Pomeroy House

136 West 2nd Street

Spanish Eclectic
1940
Architect Unknown

Built in 1940 for F. Ivan Pomeroy.

Mrs. Cleo Vance owned the house in 1946.

In 1948, the house was occupied by city attorney, Richard G. Johnson.

An unusual local example of the Spanish Eclectic Style, with Mediterranean Style form and detailing.

Good representation of the integration of a carport into the overall house design.
